WELCOME - - -

Picayune Photos is a collection of the things we remember yet are trivial and seem of little importance to our life. Yet these unimportant things are the threads that make up the fabric of our life. My images attempt to gather these threads and bring them to the forefront in photo mode. All photos were taken by me, unless noted, in either the Pacific Northwest or Central Kentucky. There is little text with each photo allowing you to fit your own story around each.

I am a freelance photographer and writer with a professional background in cultural anthropology and historic preservation. Retired now -- having a great time exploring all the the things I missed on my journey to retirement.

-- now living in Pacific Northwest region.
